Apprenticed in painting union in 1979- began own company in 1982, joined by Mark "Rocky" Torrey as partner in Young Torrey Painting  from '83-'06, Then became Robert Young Painting LLC to present.

Rob has worked with many of the finest decorators in the Twin Cities, and in coordination with many talented contractors. He is usually hired directly by the client.

Interior painting, particularly in older homes, is very much about problem solving. Rob�s experience with the many products and techniques involved and willingness to always expand his understanding allows him to look at each project with not only an eye for detail, but to solve problems and recommend proper coatings. Homeowners, decorators and contractors have depended on his expertise in this way.
